The Nampa Rotary Community Fund is proud to award funds to six local non-profit organizations that support the civic club’s areas of focus, including peace, maternal and child health, and education.
At a recent club meeting, a total of $3,625 was allocated to six projects:
- Aging Strong, a program of Jannus – flashcard kits for Foster Grandparents volunteering in Nampa school kits
- Learning Peace – help cover the cost of leasing a space for the free five-day peace camp for kids
- JEMfriends, Inc – life skills class for young men who have aged out of foster care
- Nampa Bicycle Project – bike lights to improve safety for kids
- Care House Learning Center – classroom supplies and student scholarships for underserved children
- The Salvation Army of Nampa – holiday gifts for underserved pre-teens and teenagers age 11-17
The Nampa Rotary Community Fund was established in partnership with the Idaho Community Foundation. Grants are awarded annually by a Nampa Rotary Club committee.
“We are grateful to our local non-profits for providing needed services to children and families in our community,” said Andy Dodson, a longtime Nampa Rotary Club member and liaison to the Idaho Community Foundation.
The 2026 Community Fund grant deadline is in late August. To learn more, see the grant criteria.
