We had a blast building dozens of kits for Foster Grandparents to use when working with kids in Nampa schools.
The Foster Grandparent Program brings multi-generational learning to the classroom. Highly trained, vetted and reliable older adult volunteers become ‘classroom grandparents’ in school settings, acting as tutors and mentors for students. The Foster Grandparent Program is operated by Aging Strong, a division of Jannus.
The Rotary Club of Nampa provided $600 to purchase items, including reading materials, educational games and other supplies. Proud to help students love to learn!
