Rotary International’s theme for February was Peace & Conflict Resolution, and as guest speaker on 3/17, Janice Fulkerson will continue to talk about peacebuilding that begins locally and grows globally. She will share opportunities for Clubs in D5400 to think about peacebuilding differently and easily achievable actions to focus on peacebuilding in Rotary and beyond.
Janice Fulkerson enjoys surrounding herself with family, friends, laughter, and service to community and others. A Rotarian since 2008, she has served in many roles across her club and the District, including District Governor in 2022-2023. Outside of Rotary, she has over thirty years of progressive leadership and experience in the health care and nonprofit industries, currently serving as Senior Advisor for the Fletcher Group. She graduated from Boise State University, School of Social Work and served honorably in the United States Army Ready Reserve. Janice currently serves as the Chair of Board for Your Health Idaho, the state’s insurance exchange; State of Idaho’s high-risk pool board secretary; She is involved in several mentoring programs, to include Big Brothers Big Sisters and was recognized as Big Sister of the year in 2016.
